Nowadays,the domestic automobile industry has been in a very competitive stage.In order to take a market share,the major car brands must be able to produce high-quality vehicles which customers can trust on and also have a price advantage.From the view of automobile production,automobile manufacturing process is similar in every automobile plant,especially the assembly process which enjoys the basic tendency to standardization,but logistics are quite different in different plants.Different standards of logistics tend to reflect different operational efficiency,different quality assurance capabilities and different investment costs.Therefore,considering the production characteristics,how to develop a scientific and rational logistics management is the main way to enhance overall operational efficiency of enterprises,improve quality assurance capabilities of processes,reduce manufacturing costs and optimize the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises,and it is also the issue which current automotive companies must seriously deal with.In this paper,research is to focus on the above aspects.It selects the way in which ingredients are delivered to the assembly line in BAIC Motor automotive Company as the main research objective.And it studies and analyzes the management problems in automotive companies by using modern advanced factory management theory.The paper conducts in-depth analysis on problems of the way in which ingredients are delivered to the assembly line and management in BAIC Motor Guangzhou automotive Company on its first stage.And it employs supply chain theory,operations research,JIT,ergonomics and other related theories,investigates and analyzes related practices of major domestic and foreign automobile plants,especially GTMC which is the example in lean production.After learning all companies' outstanding practices,targeted solution which refers to the combination of centralized distribution of small objects(main)and orderly direct supply of big objects(subordinate),is put forward on efficiency improvement,process quality assurance,lean production cost,safety,environmental optimization in the aspects of efficiency management,process quality management,operations management and others.It also assess the effect of management program of delivering ingredients to the assembly line in BAIC Motor Guangzhou automotive Company on its second stage,and it reaches the pre-estimated effect.Result of this study provides constructive guidance to the management of delivering ingredients to the assembly line in BAIC Motor Guangzhou automotive Company on its second stage,improves the assembly plant's efficiency,process quality assurance capability,cost control ability,visual factory management level,etc.And it also provides useful advice and guidance for the domestic automobile enterprises to improve the efficiency of plant management.
