Longitudinal driver assistant systems(LDAS)of vehicles are a technological direction to reduce driving load and improve active safety.Although some commercial and top-end passenger vehicles have equipped with some systems like CW and ACC,there is still a long way to go before these systems get fully developed for extensive application on road.A dominant issue of longitudinal driver assistant systems is to establish and implement reasonable spacing policy in response to traffic variation,which makes it necessary to test and evaluate LDAS control systems in different traffic situations.Compared with road tests,simulation-based development practice makes great sense in reducing development time and cost,creating the same test condition,and ensuring test safety.General vehicle enterprises are more focus on the establishment and improvement of the vehicle development process,but for the development process of laboratory projects are relatively weak.By diagnosing the problems of vehicle development process,using the ECRS analysis method,combined with the key process identification,value chain model and analysis method,optimize a set of suitable development process for B enterprises laboratory project.And it also uses the thought of concurrent engineering to optimize the 4 stages of the development process.According to the process of optimization,carried out the development and application of simulation platform,simulation test from the security policy model influence on the comfort and safety of the adaptive system with constant driver,and the conclusion is a successful application of the laboratory project development process case.The successful development of this project provides a solid technical accumulation for the enterprise to develop the active security strategy.Provide a powerful development management experience and application management process for enterprises to carry out the follow-up research of other core technology,process problems found also provides material for the analysis to improve the future development process.
