The rise of mobile learning mode and the development of virtual reality and augmented reality technology provide new opportunities and challenges for the teaching reform of Engineering Graphics,which is faced with the ubiquitous learning environment,low interaction and other issues for the first grade and the second grade students of science and technology at the present stage.This paper focuses on the combination of mobile learning and VR,AR technology developing the Engineering Graphics Mobile Learning System which based on intelligent terminal.The main research contents are as follows:(1)This paper uses TRIZ innovative tools for system design determining the four functional modules— "Teaching Video","3D Model Library","Drawing Practice" and "Model Scanning".(2)Based on the concept of complementary advantages,considering other software compatibility and lightweight,we select Open GL ES2.0、3Ds MAX 、Java Script and Motion Event class to implement the interaction function.On this basis,according to the characteristics of Engineering Graphics course and the law of cognition,this kind of application is characterized by split-screen function that displays multimedia and 3D virtual models at the same time.It also achieves interactive control of virtual models.(3)To achieve the image recognition function,this paper uses Vuforia which is configured Unity3 D,writing C# program to implement the interaction function;The virtual model is combined with the actual situation to construct a real learning environment and integrating with other modules to improve the system function.(4)Based on this software,this paper uses virtual machine(AVD)and hardware devices to debug the system,we also summarize the problems and solutions of system development.According to the feedback of the students,we optimize the mobile learning system to ensure that the software compatibility and operating fluency remain at a high level.In summary,this paper completes the design of Engineering Graphics Mobile Learning System,and it has been applied to teaching practice,it not only opens up the prospect for the teaching reform of Engineering Graphics,but also provides the theoretical and experimental basis for the application of VR technology and AR technology in mobile learning.
