Intelligent railway is a new model which consists of three major systems including intelligent construction,intelligent equipment and intelligent operation with innovative ideas and concepts in intelligent manufacturing.It aims to realize the overall intelligence of the entire business process,the entire value chain,the entire life cycle,and the entire ecosystem of railway transportation under the drive of new information technology.Augmented reality(AR)accurately superimposes the virtual world information into the real environment through the perception of environmental targets.Its virtual and real fusion characteristics have important prospects in many fields.The exploration of the concept of intelligent railway has not been long.As a key next-generation human-computer interaction technology,AR has not been sufficiently applied in the field of intelligent railway.In this paper,the connotation of AR technology is specifically extended to the intelligent railway.After in-depth analysis of the overall structure of intelligent railway and its technical support system,the application research on the integration of AR in different scenarios of intelligent railway is carried out.This paper also realizes transparency of complex manufacturing processes and accurate construction of infrastructure construction with omni-directional situational awareness and visualization.The specific content is as follows:(1)The paper has an in-depth analysis of the technical application of AR in intelligent railway,combing and summarizing the functional requirements of AR in the three intelligent railway systems(intelligent manufacturing,intelligent equipment and intelligent operation).From a theoretical point of view,it explains the necessity of intelligent railway fusion with AR technology.(2)This paper proposes a dynamic monitoring program for intelligent equipment production workshops based on manual identification.In this scenario of AR fusion with the Internet of Things,a good three-dimensional tracking and registration effect of dynamic and static tags are achieved,and sensor data can be visualized and tracked in a sustainable way on mobile devices.The relevant tests on the mobile terminal have verified the feasibility of the scheme.(3)Based on the method of natural feature recognition,an AR assembly guidance process which is suitable for the assembly of intelligent trains is proposed.This guidance can realize precise assembly development on demand.The paper selects the disassembly and restoration by the engine model to verify the reliability of the process,realizing one-click query model assembly function.(4)In order to effectively solve the problem that the virtual model cannot be quickly compared with the actual model during the construction of the BIM application in the railway construction process,a model positioning method based on the ground recognition method is proposed.The drag-and-drop manual placement technology solves the difficulty of model positioning.It uses touch operation to display the element information of the BIM,avoiding the enlargement and delay of problems in the construction of railway facilities by the fusion of BIM and AR.
