This paper,based on the background of the people's living standards improved,the experience economy era arrived and the deepening of aging society,discusses how to satisfy the demand of cultural and recreational life of the elderly and satisfy their spiritual needs while the material life is rich.Based on the research and case analysis,this paper presents the present situation of the recreational activities of the elderly and leads to the creation of the maker experience platform,builds the Experience Platform Acceptance Model for Senior(EPAMS),the Experience Platform Design Flow and the User Experience Element Model of Experience Platform,then based on these researches,the design practice of the maker experience platform for the elderly is carried out.Firstly,The paper describes the three macroscopic backgrounds of today's society,culture and theory,points out that the "60s" have shown great needs to experience the cultural and recreational life and continue to participate in social activities for their self-fulfillment.Now the content of cultural and recreational activities for aging people is too simple,there is a lack to guide a innovative exploration of it by the design strength.After that,the paper puts forward the "Maker" experience platform and extends the three user experience levels of experience platform.Secondly,the research on the acceptability of "Maker" experience platform for the elderly is carried out.The objective receptive ability of the elderly is measured from three aspects: physiology,cognition,mood and emotion,then after deep interviewing,the EPAMS model is obtained by using the rooted theory to analyze the depth interview data.Finally,by summarizing the previous research,the paper gets the content of guiding significance of the design: on the experience platform design strategies,including four aspects: improving acceptance,increasing usability,fitting cognitive characteristics,and stimulating the enthusiasm.Then presents an experiential design flow based on the extensible experiential design method.The process is characterized by using the user experience element model to continuously refine and iterate the product and service design.Finally,the user experience element model is presented.The model focuses on product and service experience focus Including three parts: the pre-acceptance,the interactive experience in use,the perceived value after the end of the activities.
