Electric connector is one of the basic components used to realize electrical connection and signal transmission.It is widely used in aviation,aerospace,national defense and other military and civil systems.Vibration stress is one of the environmental factors that affect the contact performance of electrical connectors.The traditional test method has problems of high cost,long time consuming and difficulty to realize some high strength environment.Therefore,using the finite element simulation software to study the variation of the parameters and fatigue life of electrical connectors under vibration environment has important significance.In this paper,the related parameters and fatigue life of a circular electrical connector under vibration condition is studied.The main work of this paper is as follows: firstly,based on the dynamic model of the electrical connector,the contact failure modes of electrical connectors under different vibration conditions are analyzed.Secondly,in order to get the static parameters and modal parameters,static structure analysis and modal analysis are carried out on the electrical connector simulation model,and the vibration simulation test scheme is designed.Thirdly,the relative motion,contact pressure and the variation of the stress distribution parameters of electrical connectors under different vibration conditions are analyzed through the transient structure analysis module.Fourthly,the fatigue life of electrical connectors under different vibration conditions is calculated,and the influence of different vibration parameters on fatigue life is analyzed.Finally,the verification test was carried out,and the simulation results were compared and analyzed.
