Today is electronic science and technology of the era,in the wave of electric connectors plays an important role,in any sort of electronic products need to signal transmission and control,and the electric connector is complete the key components of this important task.A complex 'system to a thousand or more electrical connector to ensure the transmission of signals and data between various systems,so the reliability of the electric connector had a direct impact on the reliability of the whole system.Reliability of electric connection has become a hot issue at home and abroad.In the process of transmitting electrical signals,the contact parts of the electrical connector play a decisive role,and the performance and structure of the contacts directly affect the reliability of the whole electric connector.The main failure mode of the electrical connector is the contact failure,and the performance of the contact part is the key point of the research on the performance of the electrical connector.This paper to J5999? series of electric connectors,mil-c-38999 series general contact piece 22#pin jack as the research object,jacks of the structure for the optimal comprehensive performance,the most widely used cylindrical slot type structure.Completed the main work:(1)a precise three-dimensional model of the electrical connector contact is established,and the dynamic contact process of the electric connector is simulated by the finite element method based on the Abaqus and the finite element method.Dynamic simulation by plug jack and the standard gauge of different parameters,determine the size of Jack closing in theory.(2)establish electrical connector contact parameters model and ABAQUS.Through the contact of different structure parameters a plug simulation of different structure parameters for the contact performance of contacts.(3)using fatigue analysis software Fe-safe,the S-N curves of the material are calculated according to the material properties of the electrical connector contact material.The stress and strain results of the simulation of the butt contact element in the finite element software Abaqus are introduced into the Fe-safe.The contact life of the electrical connector is simulated,and the fatigue life of the electrical connector is obtained.
