| As an African Arabian island country, the Comoros has a strong Islamic religious identity.Because African construction technology and architectural concepts have always been relatively “primitive”,Comoros has always retained a large number of buildings with ethnic style and indigenous characteristics. In Africa, the zoning of buildings is extremely serious. On the one hand, most of the Comorians living in the countryside live in thatched houses with very simple conditions and are full of resistance to modern skyscrapers;on the other hand, the Comoros, which has long been a French colony, absorbs its architecture.Part of the Western style, such as the ever-developing Comoros capital Moroni. Therefore,in order to improve the living conditions of the Comorians,it is necessary to study the traditional architectural features of the nation itself and improve it on the basis of its existing ones. This thesis combines the history and economy of Comoros to study the religious architectural forms under the influence of Islam and the residential architectural forms under the traditional crafts. |
