Asphalt pavement was composed of asphalt mixture,its composition including asphalt,aggregate and mineral powder.At present,asphalt pavement construction mainly used by the hot mix asphalt mixture technology,but hot mix technology exist many defect such as high energy consumption,pollution and asphalt aging.In recent years,the technology of warm mix asphalt mixture was more and more attention.Warm mix technique was mainly by adding organic temperature mixing agent and synthetic zeolite temperature mixing agent to reduce the mixing temperature of asphalt mixture,but price of warm mixing agent was too high to limit the popularization and application of warm mix asphalt mixture.In this paper,chemical modification were used to treat natural zeolite,then prepared the low cost,good performance of temperature mixing agent,so as to promote the application of warm mix asphalt mixture.Hydrochloric acid,sodium hydroxide,sodium chloride solution were used to treat natural zeolite.The influence of different processing liquid of natural zeolite pore structure were investigated,then fatty amine solution was used to surface modification,and the modified natural zeolite temperature mixing agent was obtained.The physical properties of asphalt and aggregate the influence of the adhesion properties and aging properties by modified natural zeolite temperature mixing agent was investigated.In the end,the influence of the modified natural zeolite warm-mixed agent on properties of warm-mix asphalt mixture was investigated,to determine the appropriate mix content of the modified natural zeolite temperature mixing agent and forming temperature of warm mix asphalt mixture.And the natural zeolite of warm mix asphalt mixture field application was carried out.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1).TG thermal analysis showed that processing mainly by sodium hydroxide solution to increase the natural zeolite in the water and capillary water adsorption,make natural zeolite can slow release of moisture in the hot asphalt,so that the asphalt foaming,be the volume expansion of for a long time.(2)BET analysis shows that natural zeolite after 1 mol/L concentration of sodium hydroxide solution treatment,mainly increase the aperture porosity(3)Octadecylamine was used to treat the chemical treatment of natural zeolite,fourier transform infrared spectrum showed that modification the octadecylamine components of natural zeolite adsorption on the surface of zeolite in the form of chemical combination,then improved adhesion of asphalt and aggregate.(4)Softening point and viscosity of asphalt was improved,ductility and penetration was declined by modified natural zeolite.At the same time,the hot oxygen aging performance and ultraviolet aging performance of asphalt were significantly improved by the modified natural zeolite,the reason for this is that the modified natural zeolite has good absorption and shielding ability to uv light.(5)The properties of asphalt mixture volume effect by modified natural zeolite warm-mix agent was investigated,results show that the appropriate mix content of the modified natural zeolite for 0.3% of the total quality of mixture.Mixing and compaction temperature of asphalt mixture can reduce 30? or so by this dosage,the water stability,low temperature crack resistance,high temperature anti-rutting performance of warm-mix asphalt mixture all meet the specification requirements.Performance of test road paved by modified natural zeolite of warm mix asphalt mixture was well.
