Because of the high speed and low energy consumption,evacuated tube train will become the popular research object of traffic conveyance on the ground in the future.But most of the suspension supporting methods of evacuated tube train are the same as traditional maglev train's methods.So,aiming at the special working environment of evacuated tube train,this paper has designed an EDS&EMS hybrid magneticsuspensionsupportingsystemwhichislowcost,energy efficiency,environmental protection and stable supporting performance.The system uses four-point-suspension supporting structure to raise the space utilization of evacuated tube and it also adds the EMS system to improve stability of the EDS system because the EDS system is lack of damping.Besides,the whole hybrid magnetic suspension supporting system can realize 3 functions which are levitation,guidance,traction in the same time.The main contents of this paper are as follows:?1?Through the analysis of the suspension supporting methods which are adopted by evacuated tube train at present,single magnetic suspension supporting method has its own disadvantages.So,a four-point-suspension EDS&EMS hybrid magnetic suspension supporting system which combines two supporting system's advantages is presented.And the system's structure is designed.?2?In order to improve the usage of magnetic energy of permanent-magnet,the structural parameters of Halbach array are optimally designed.Through the analysis of induction plate's structure,based on the supporting demand of evacuated tube train,the cheaper continuous track is adopted.Aiming at EMS system,the suspension control and traction principle are analyzed,the structural parameters are designed.?3?The permanent-magnet and electromagnetism field characteristics of hybrid suspension system were simulated by using ANSYS Maxwell software.The influence of the system's structural parameters on the performance of levitation and traction is discussed.The simulation results show that the hybrid magnetic suspension support system can provide enough levitation force and traction force for the evacuated tube train,and effectively reduce the energy consumption.?4?Establishing the dynamic model of EDS&EMS hybrid magnetic suspension system,and analyzing the stabilities of the system's levitation,guidance and rolling movement.Using the Routh criterion to obtain the conditions that EDS system's levitation force f0 need to satisfy when the system is open-loop stable.The results show that the conditions just relate with the structural parameters when train is at the equilibrium position.Compared with the theoretical calculation results,the experimental results show that the designed EDS&EMS hybrid magnetic levitation support system has open-loop stability.
