Due to water transport's low prices and huge capacity,even shipping business now is in a downturn,it still occupies around two-thirds proportion in the total traffic volume of current international trade.The container water transport plays a more and more important role,and China has become NO.1 in the port container throughput all over the world,while 5 biggest worldwide ports of container throughput,China takes 3.Therefore,how to make the ship with a more reasonable container stowage has very vital significance towards Chinese economy,or even the world economy.Container ship stowage is very complicated,which can be summarized into a multi-objective combinatorial optimization problem,much research is carried out in the case of a large number of assumptions,so there is still a huge distance from widespread application.While,in many Chinese offshore ports,the container loading plan is still carried out by relevant personnel with manual experience.First of all,this article considers the influence of each liquid tank and free fluid towards container ship stowage,it adopts SerialPort and is through RS485 interface standards to design a real-time monitoring program,which accords with Modbus RTU,and then carry out real-time monitoring to each liquid tank,the liquid level data can provide important reference for container ship stowage.Then,it makes a general introduction of container and container ship,which lays a good foundation for further ship loading research.This article also makes a summary towards artificial loading process,and compares the differences & significance between various stowage plans,reaching several principles in the process of container ship stowage,providing the basis for ship loading problem-solving.By consulting a large number of literatures,this paper decides to use genetic algorithm to solve the loading problems of container ship from the perspective of application computer.It illustrates some basic concepts of genetic algorithm in this paper,aiming at the application of genetic algorithm in container ship stowage problem,concludes the basic operation,the convergence and basic characteristics of genetic algorithm.On the basis of the existing research,this paper proposes an improved method for different types of container to participate in the algorithm,adaptive genetic operator,elite selection and multi-population parallel.In the end,it completes software written & problem-solving of container ship loading in Windows operating system through VB.net language,and at the same time,according to the actual circumstance of the ship,it completed some auxiliary functions may be used in this process.This paper,by taking a stowage problem with 1100 container from Dalian Jifa Ship company as engineering background,researches the established mathematical model through optimization genetic algorithm,and obtains a satisfactory solution.The application of the improved genetic algorithm to the loading problem of container ships shows that the improved genetic algorithm is a powerful means to solve the problem of stowage of container ships.The research carried out in this paper has certain theoretical reference value for solving the stowage problem of container ships and engineering application value.
