| Stowage is one of key courses in the operation of cargo transportation at sea. To work out the stowage plan for container ships, especially for large container ships is a very complicated kind of work. It requires much data processing, high precision of calculation, much concerning of restrictions and high efficiency. At present, computer in which running a loading software is absolutely necessary for the work.This thesis discusses the stowage for container ships and design of loading software for container ships. The status quo of transportation of container ships and the loading software for container ships is narrated in the first chapter. Some principles of working out stowage plan for container ships are summed up in the second chapter. In the third chapter, the thought of how to design a loading software is outlined. In the fourth chapter, the method of dealing with the ship's data concerning loading software is introduced, and a new method, which calculating these data based on lines plan of ship in case of in shortage of hydrostatic data and distribution of light ship is presented. And in the fifth chapter, an optimization model for offering ballast plans is discussed.In recent years, evolutionary algorithms, including complex algorithm and genetic algorithm, have brought much effect in solving many problems of nonlinear optimization in sorts of fields of engineering. So the author decides a try for using these algorithms in a program to solve the problem of working out the ballast plan automatically. It is proved to be an effective way to solve the problem by some examples. |
