Research On The Renewal Of Traditional Characteristic Block Under The Community Building Path

Traditional characteristic block is the important carrier of urban cultural heritage,and also an important space for the daily life of urban residents.Along with the attention and emphasis of its community property,the focus on the conservation and renewal of traditional blocks transformed from the protection of material entity space and cultural heritage,gradually to the retention and development of neighborhood residents.In order to achieve the revival of the physical environment and economic strength of the blocks,the mode of renewal of the urban characteristic block has been transformed from the large-scale demolition and construction to the multi-party cooperation,which emphasizes the community building mode of retaining residents and introducing external capital,promoting the local culture,industry and economic development to realize blocks revival.Community building method advocates the integration of traditional cultural protection into local economic development and residents’ life,to attain the combination of local traditional culture and characteristic industry,exploring the local oriented and endogenous development strategy.In this situation,people began to try to introduce external capital by adjusting the right and function of use of the houses,to realize the revival and operation of the block industry,and many achievements have been made in the practice of revitalization and regeneration of traditional characteristic blocks.But at the same time,the introduction of commercial and tourism activities has brought about the problems of poor protection of traditional material space,the disintegration of neighborhood social structure and the imbalance of interest main structure,as well as the improvement of the physical environment and economic atmosphere of the blocks,which reveals the actual dilemma of the application of community building,as a new thing,in the renewal practice of traditional characteristic block.Through detailed analysis and investigation with relevant literature and practical cases on the residential and commercial conflicts caused by the introduction of external capital under the traditional block renewal,found that the unreasonable allocation and utilization of space resources caused by the entry of foreign business entities and operating activities are the main factors that cause the occurrence of commercial and residential conflicts.Based on the deep probe of the forming reason and expression form of,found that the mode of community building,which is aimed to maintain stable social structure and emphasizes autonomous participation of residents for endogenous development of blocks,is still the key to solve the residential and commercial conflicts.And on this basis,puts forward the general planning idea of " integrate by separation ",and takes the environmental regulation strategy with spatial separation as the core and community governance strategy with the benefit sharing as the core,to promote the optimization of space resource utilization and the balance of the distribution relationship of block interests,achieving the traditional characteristic blocks from the outside into the internal integration.Taking the opportunity of the community planning pilot project in the traditional characteristic block of Hubu Alley in Wuhan,conducts practice arguments for the relevant countermeasures,exploring the community building path consistent with the protection and development of traditional characteristic blocks.
