Study On The Design Of Signage Information Interface Of Public Space In Multi-language Environment

Nowadays,cities in our county have entered into a stage of rapid development.The visual feature of the city is undergoing tremendous changes every day.High-speed development and internationalization have brought audiences in multiple language and culture to cities.Under this multilingual environment,the lagging public information service is a common situation in urban development.As a media form of urban public information service,the wayfinding system has both visual attribute and information attribute,which plays an important role in building specific spatial image,transmitting specific information,and realizing spatial function.Carrying visual information such as text,graphics,and colors,signage information interface is an integral part of the visual information of public space under multilingual environment.This paper analyzes the research results in related fields of the guidance system a nd then clarifies the relationship among the concept of guidance and multilingual envi ronment and public space,and compares the current domestic situation to analyze the absence of guidance function in Chinese cities.Furthermore,this paper analyzes the r elated theoretical concepts and interpretations,explores the dual functions of informat ion in realizing cross-cultural communication in multi-lingual environment and constr ucting the guidance system from the perspective of semiotics,and dialectically analyze the functions of symbols in information communication through the analysis of sym bol types in order to provide theoretical basis for the realization of multi-lingual functi ons of the guidance information interface.This paper aims at effectively realizing multilingual function of guide informatio n interface,summarizes the significance of guide planning and design in realizing mult ilingual function.On this basis,this paper provides theoretical basis for planning and design according to the research achievements in visual science research field and als o puts forward practical design principles and methods in the planning and design of g uide information interface combined with practical cases.
