With the promotion of holistic tourism and the development of urban motorization,the urban scenic areas,as the ideal place of public space and leisure in the city,are experiencing prominent problems in traffic operation,the ecological environment and the satisfaction of the tourist travel.The reasonable configuration of traffic facilities system in urban scenic areas can not only promote the efficient and sustainable operation of transportation system,but also improve the quality of travel service and leisure activities for tourists.It is of great practical significance to construct diversified and sustainable tourism transportation service system as well as integrated and high-quality tourism traffic facility system.This paper sums up the characteristics of the resource elements in urban scenic from the aspects of land use characteristics,the resource types and the importance degree of the scenic spots,and an evaluation model for the importance degree of scenic spots considering intrinsic value of resources and development degree of the area is set up;the characteristics of spatial structure of scenic spots are analyzed,as well as the travel features of tourist including destinations,trip mode and its combination.The spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of tourist flow are revealed.Based on the explanation of interrelation between transportation system and urban tourism resources,this paper puts forward requirements for the development of traffic facilities in urban scenic area in terms of scenic resources protection,quality evaluation,natural ecological environment and urban traffic development.Connotation of traffic service system in urban scenic area is defined,while components and characteristics of traffic service system are explored.Analysis of traffic service system function from the structure of spatial hierarchy and mode system is also completed.The adaptability of the road network for tourist resources and transportation service system of urban scenic area is resolved.This paper sums up the functions of urban scenic area road network including accessibility,activity place,landscape shaping and disaster prevention,and puts forward the requirement on constructing the road grading system in the scenic area to adapt to the function and environment.Based on previous analysis,a road classification method considering hierarchy,activity feature and trip mode is raised.Different configuration standard for each road type are explored,then the road network layout in urban scenic area are studied.Considering the coexistence of both motorized traffic and pedestrians on some road,this paper put forward right-of-way strategy based on the shared street concept.As an important component of traffic facility system,parking facilities are explored,such as factors affecting the parking demand in terms of tourist scale,trip mode structure,travel destination,travel cost,parking guidance and management information.Overall form of parking lot layout in urban scenic area is studied,and the parking facilities location model is put forward.This paper summarizes the structure of traffic organization pattern and its influencing factors,which accords with the development requirement of urban scenic area,and studies the overall strategy of the inner traffic organization of the scenic area under the condition of overloading tourist passenger flow.Aiming to release the congestion situation during peak time,this paper analyzes the mechanism of tourist route selection behavior,puts forward the optimization design of tourism route,and constructs a multi-objective optimization model with the maximum tourist satisfaction,shortest travel time and minimum crowding.
