Railway transportation has always been a major direction for China’s development.It is not only related to the life and travel of the masses,but also related to the social and economic development of the whole country.Since the mid 20 th century,the state has always regarded the safety of railway transport as a top priority.The relevant departments have done a lot of research to ensure the safe running of railway locomotives,and developed a variety of safety monitoring devices.In view of the important problems and key components involved in railway transportation safety,the state has formulated a set of standardized locomotive on-board safety protection system,referred to as 6A system.6A system,which centers on the central processing platform(CPP)and includes air brake safety monitoring.Running part fault monitoring,train power supply monitoring,high voltage insulation detection,automatic video monitoring and recording,fire monitoring.Based on the fault monitoring subsystem of running part in 6A system,this paper studies the axle box bearing and develops a set of shaft temperature detection system.The DS18B20 sensor is selected to collect the axial temperature.After the processing of the axial temperature processor is completed,the information of the shaft temperature and alarm is sent to the train control and management system.Thus,the real-time detection of bearing state is realized,and the safety of locomotive is ensured.According to the requirements of the axle temperature detection system,this paper designs three modules: the axial temperature detecting device,the shaft temperature processor,and the multi-function vehicle bus(MVB)transmission controller.The shaft temperature detecting device is the key part of the whole system.It is installed on the locomotive bogie to operate independently.The DS18B20 sensor is selected to realize the function of axial temperature detection by analyzing the requirement of the device.The four shaft temperature sensor is installed on the axle box to realize the test of axial temperature,so as to judge whether the bearing is in normal operation condition.Then the hardware design,software design and design of the mask box are designed.The shaft temperature detecting device has the characteristics of high real-time performance,high precision,low power consumption,small volume,long life and so on,which meets the specifications and requirements of the system.The axial temperature processor plays an important role in the whole shaft temperature detection system.On the one hand,the axis temperature processor is responsible for collecting and processing the data information of each axis temperature detection device,and storing relevant data information to storage;On the other hand,the processed data information is sent to the upper TCMS by MVB bus transmission controller.The hardware design includes power circuit,clock circuit,FLASH memory,communication module,single chip microcomputer and peripheral circuit.Software design includes initializing program,clock program,storage program,fault diagnosis program and so on.Then,the design of the exterior shielding box of the axis temperature processor is designed.Finally,the temperature data,alarm status and other information of the axial temperature detection device can be displayed intuitively through the design of the upper computer interface.Finally,MVB transmitter controller is designed by using FPGA technology.Hardware design includes FPGA main chip selection,download circuit,transmitter interface circuit and so on.In the software aspect,the transmission control unit,the clock division unit,the parallel serial conversion unit,the delimiter generation unit,the check sequence coding unit and the Manchester coding unit are designed.Each module of MVB transmitter controller is simulated and tested by ModelSIM software.The results meet the requirements of MVB bus frame format.
