As all related technologies are boosting,unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)is seeing an improvement in its abilities.In addition,integrated systems and technologies have been widely employed in the design of UAV,traditional designing methods can hardly meet the demand of UAV system not only in the future but also at present.For the sake of the adaption to the designing requirement of comprehensive UAV system,modern approach and method should be introduced.Combined with the feature of Life Cycle(LYC)in the R & D process of aerial equipment in China,the paper introduces the methodology of Model Based on Systems Engineering(MBSE)to the application of UAV system design,and it explores the localized application project of MBSE designing and modeling method.To begin with,the paper introduces and analyzes the methodology and relevant concept of system engineering and MBSE,and then it analyzes several typical LYC frames and development models of products at home and abroad put forward in the methodology.Based on the characteristics of LYC developed from the domestic products,feasible MBSE localization designing flow is proposed.Then,it explains how to analyze the function demand of UAV task management system from top to bottom and how to use Traditional Systems Engineering(TSE)to make primary and specific system design,so as to gain the design input of system software development in the system design of UAV.After that,on the basis of the function demand analysis of mission management system,it illustrates the way to make system modeling and design based on MBSE and the problems in this process.In the end,combined with MBSE and TSE,the paper explains how to realize the hardware design and software development of task management system after the establishment of UAV mission management system model.MBSE visualizes and models the process of system design through the way of modeling,and it also solves many problems in TSE design.In the development of products,MBSE methodology is not only a shift in the thinking but also a huge change in the project management method.As such,there are still many problems in the localization of MBSE in China,with a long way from the accomplishment of comprehensive engineering application.The paper takes a “point” as the goal to seek for the localized working flow of MBSE project flow,so as to make MBSE methodology to work in a more effective and practical way.The innovative points and value of the paper involves two points as follows: 1)based on the similarities and differences between TSE and MBSE,the paper purposes the localized comprehensive aerial electricity system design flow on the basis of MBSE,with the combination of the LYC of aerial products development in China;2)MBSE system design flow is introduced into the design of UAV system to make it modeling and regulated,thus providing a new thinking for the ensuing system design of complicated UAV system.
