| By the benefits of our reform and development in the recent 30 years,our manufacturing industry has been growing rapidly,making China a big manufacturing country.However,our manufacturing industry,in general,remains “big but not strong”.Under the double pressure of the new development trend of global manufacturing industry and the loss of the competitive advantage of our manufacturing industry,it is of necessity,after scientifically analyzing the development environment and the existing innovation capability of our manufacturing industry,for our manufacturing industry to transform from “made in China” into “created by China” and comprehensively promote the transformation and upgrade of our manufacturing industry with how to fully improve our own innovation capability as its core.In fact,technical innovation is an effective path for manufacturing enterprises to fulfill the technology upgrade of their products and can also bring about huge economic profits and explore vast market.However,the harmful function which is produced during the process of constructing product's innovative principle solution causes the unreasonable harmfulness of product,which,to a certain degree,will be harmful to product itself,product users and environment.This,in return,will lead to the failure for constructing an excellent,safe and reliable product's innovative principle solution.Given these,it is necessary to carry out a harmful function oriented research so as to provide theoretical basis and method support for designers to guide them how to effectively recognize and eliminate harmful function.The main content of the paper consists of:1.The concept,feature and category of harmful function are systematically set forth to analyze the form in which harmful function takes effect and point out how the harmful function is produced.Besides,the forming mechanism of harmful function is expressed by model.The connotation of evolutionary mechanism of harmful function is illustrated.What's more,the evolutionary process of harmful function is divided into different stages and the feature of each stage is described.Based on system dynamics,the evolutionary mechanism of harmful function is analyzed.2.Harmful Function Oriented Function-Effect-Condition(HF-FEC)Model is proposed and established to provide model foundation for the dynamic simulation of harmful function evolution.Besides,the functional structure and the effect chain model of product are established through the interactive mapping relations between functional and effect,and then the function structure and the effect chain model are mapped at condition layer.The symbolic system of condition layer is made full use to form the model of condition layer,objectively reflecting the dynamic evolutionary process of harmful function and its influence upon product system or supra-system at condition layer.3.The method,based on qualitative reasoning,for recognizing harmful function is put forward to provide basis and premise for the dynamic simulation of harmful function evolution.Besides,the dynamic simulation method and procedure for harmful function evolution are pointed out to make designers capable for effectively recognizing harmful function during the process of constructing product's innovative principle solution and mastering the mechanism of formation and dynamic evolution for harmful function.4.Taking innovative design of paper currency sorting and binding machine as a case,the dynamic simulation of harmful function evolution for its feeding module and sorting module will be carried out by applying the above-mentioned method during the process of constructing product's innovative principle solution.Consequently,the feasibility and practicability of the method is testified. |
