Near space vehicle is a kind of aircraft which running on the altitude of 20 ~ 100 km above the ground for specific tasks.Horizontal take-off and landing(HTOL)hypersonic near space vehicle concept has been the research hotspot and difficulty.This paper proposes a reusable full speed domain vehicle concept which can realize HTOL.Based on the concept,the 3D digital model has been built and the aerodynamic performance at full speed of the domain has been studied,the landing gear has been designed and the take-off and landing performance has been analyzed.This paper discusses the technical feasibility of the concept and aims to provide a reference for the concept design of such aircraft.The research contents and results are as follows:1)According to the design requirements of horizontal take-off and landing and full speed domain flight,a kind of near space vehicle general layout has been studied,the geometry shape has been designed and the 3D digital model has been established by using CATIA software.Engineering calculation method has been used for estimate the weight and center of gravity.2)The aerodynamic analysis model of the vehicle has been established and the finite volume method for solving N-S equations has been adopted to analyze the full speed domain aerodynamic performance via Fluent software.The take-off angle of attack and the best cruising altitude have been determined and the static stability of the vehicle at both low speed and high speed has been studied.3)According to the design requirement of horizontal take-off and landing,the landing gear of the vehicle has been designed,including the placement of the landing gear,the determination of the buffer parameters and the weight estimate and sizing of the brake device via engineering calculation method.The landing gear drop test and falling vibration have been simulated in LMS motion software under different working conditions.The landing gear design has been checked.
