Design And Application Of VMI Project For KD Fuel System Wuhan Company

The competition in the auto industry is no longer the competition between enterprises,but the competition between supply chains.Inventory management has become an important means to realize the continuous value chain appreciation.As an inventory management policy of supply chain,vendor-managed inventory(VMI)has been used by more and more manufacturing enterprises and has achieved good results.This thesis focuses on how to promote VMI in KD Fuel System Wuhan Company(KDFSWC for short).Elaborates the current situation of the company's inventory management,analyses the main problems of the company's current inventory management from the perspective of the company and its supplier,then further discusses the necessity and possibility of implementing VMI in the KDFSWC.On this basis,aiming at the characteristics of high precision and great risk of quality control,the thesis focuses on the design of VMI promotion plan,covering the formulation and operation mode of VMI framework agreement,selection and operation of VMI third-party warehouse,difficulties and solutions of VMI promotion.Next,the thesis discusses VMI framework agreement signing and implementing organizational guarantee of the KDFSWC.The VMI solution are discussed in detail of the specific implementation steps,compares the amount of the supply chain before and after the company to implement VMI mode multidimensional anticipation contrast,points out that the KDFSWC promote VMI can effectively achieve the company and its supply chain cost reduction.Finally,the thesis puts forward suggestions for continuous improvement of VMI project.It is expected that the research conclusions of this thesis will not only provide practical guidance for the promotion of VMI in KDFSWC,but also provide beneficial reference for the promotion of VMI in automobile industry.
