Research On Technology And Evaluation Of Life Safety Protection Engineering In Rural Roads

With the rapid development of urbanization and agricultural modernization in rural road which is one of the important parts of the highway network in China,the level of motorization is increasing so as the hidden danger of traffic safety,which also turns the safety of rural road traffic into a major problem to be solved urgently.Most of the domestic and foreign related safety measures in rural road have adopted the research content of high grade highway currently,which was poorly adaptable to rural road with unobvious effect.Through investigation and analysis of rural highway in Wujin district,Changzhou,Jiangsu province,the present situation and existing problems of people,vehicle,road,environment,management and other aspects in this article,the corresponding safety protection design standard was put forward combined with roadside,intersection and hidden other problems such as sharp bend,bad sight distance,difficulty in meeting.The effect was compared before and after the implementation of life safety protection project in 2016.And the main topics of this paper are as follows:Firstly,combined with relevant traffic accident data,this paper analyzed the impact of people,vehicles,roads,environment and management factors on traffic safety in rural road,summarized the main cause of the accidents pertinently and analyzed the main problems of roadside,intersection and hidden other problems such as sharp bend,bad sight distance,difficulty in meeting.Secondly,through the comparison with the characteristics of rural roads and other grade roads in Changzhou are through field investigation,the paper summed up the common characteristics such as regional characteristics,hydrogeology,climate and weather,roadbed height and so on.It also analyzed the special conditions of rural roads due to the limitation of funds and land expropriation as well.Thirdly,the paper formulated the design standards in rural road combined with the characteristics and put forward the relevant safety protection of roadside,intersection and hidden other problems such as sharp bend,bad sight distance,difficulty in meeting.At the same time,the typical design cases of each hidden road section were illustrated in detail.Finally,with the comparison of the statistics of traffic accidents in Wujin District of Changzhou during 2016~2017,the effect was obvious after the implementation of the life safety protection project in Wujin District of Changzhou in 2016.The evaluation results of life safety protection were also compared with fuzzy evaluation and AHP,which showed that the safety factor had been greatly improved after the implementation of life safety protection project.
