| Traffic survey refers to statistics,actual measurement and analysis,Grasp the development of traffic conditions and work processes related to traffic phenomena,and the relevant data obtained through traffic surveys is of great significance to the urban traffic planning and management department to improve and optimize road traffic conditions.The paper is based on improvements in traffic delay investigation methods,the theoretical basis for the movement characteristics,hindrance,and delay mechanism of traffic at signalized intersections,research on Several Delay Investigation Methods Improvements at Signalized Intersections.This paper,s specific content is as follows:First of all,the process of vehicle delay at signalized intersections and the mechanism analysis are studied.Based on the analysis,several commonly used traditional signalized intersection delay investigation methods,survey principles,advantages in practical observations and some limitations are analyzed.Secondly,aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional point sample method at the signalized intersection delay investigation process,the number of vehicles that parked behind the stop line at the statistical observation stop line was proposed.In the counting interval,vehicles arriving on the approach road and parking in line or having a tendency to stop are counted within one count interval.Finally,the scope of application of this method was analyzed;Since the queue length of the vehicle parking behind the entrance approach stop line of the signalized intersection is too long,the current delay observation method cannot obtain the actual number of vehicles in the queue behind the approach stop line,and proposes an interval observation method.and divide the queuing queue of the vehicle into several sections,investigate the zoning,and determine the reasonable range of the length of each section multiple times through field observations at different time periods.Obtained the average parking delay for each parked vehicle in the long approach queue and the average delay for each vehicle on the approach road;The question of the rationality of the approach delay at the observation signalized intersection at the vehicle license plate method in the travel time observation method was questioned.Based on this,the improved vehicle license method was given.Cancel the fixed observation section upstream of the intersection,and using the taillight observation method to determine when the vehicle enters the intersection and begins to decelerate.On the basis of recording the observation time of the vehicle leaving the stop line,increase the observation data when the vehicle leaves the stop line and accelerates to the normal driving speed.By analyzing and processing the observed data,the approach delay and control delay caused by vehicles passing through the signalized intersection can be obtained.Finally,starting from the definition of parking delay,approach delay and control delay,discussed the relationship between the three delays,and using spss data analysis software to perform regression analysis on the three delayed measured data obtained from the improved delay measurement method,the regression relationship between delays in delay of approach and delays in control was established,and the irrationality of the conversion coefficient method between the current delays in delay and control delays was analyzed and discussed. |
