Recently,with the rapid development of China's urbanization,the space available for many large and medium-sized cities was almost saturated,and the space resources were still occupied in some traditional municipal projects,which resulting in low overall fault tolerance of the city and hindering the sustainable development of future construction.As an efficient and intensive underground space structure,the utility tunnel integrates various municipal pipelines into the underground layout,effectively alleviating the urban traffic pressure brought by urban development.Applying BIM technology to the whole life cycle of the pipe corridor can not only solve the problems of information management,construction management,operation and maintenance in the process of pipe gallery construction,but also use BIM information to improve the work efficiency of participants and improve the quality and speed of the project.Firstly,in this paper,the development and technical status of utility tunnel at home and abroad were narrative studied.The application of BIM technology and existing problems in domestic utility tunnel projects were summarized and analyzed.Through the research on the management mode of pipe gallery and the whole life cycle theory,the management of the whole life cycle of pipe gallery based on BIM technology is proposed to realize the transmission and storage of information and provide data for the establishment of the BIM integrated management system.With the help of software,such as Revit,NavisWorks and Revit Fuzor,the practical application of BIM technology in engineering was explored from three stages of design,construction and operation and maintenance respectively,so as to provide model basis for BIM integrated management system.Finally,the overall design of the life cycle management system covering information management,three-dimensional model,construction management and operation and maintenance management were completed.Information coding design was attempted.The rules of monitoring point layout and threshold of monitoring parameters were preliminarily formulated.The disease database of pipeline was constructed,and the framework of pipeline life cycle management platform based on BIM Technology was completed.And through the case of the simulation application,the effect is good.
