Rebuilding Design Of Barrier-free Kitchen Space For The Elderly

The aging of population is one of the severe social problems faced by our country.According to the National Bureau of Statistics,buy the end of 2017,China's aging population reached 240 million(>60 years old),and exceeded 20%of the total population,which has continued to grow.Along with the aging of the population intensifies,the physiology and function of the elderly,the decline of immunity,the high incidence of diseases are prominent,and the problem of old-age care for the elderly is contradictory.In recent years,the concept of "Great Health" put forward by General Secretary Xi incorporates the concept of national health into the national health system.An elderly care service mechanism with family-based pension and multiple old-age services coexisting has been initially constructed.The main theme of the "Great Health" system has been sung,and the thoughts of respecting the elderly,supporting the elderly and respecting the elderly have been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.How to create a livable old-age environment for the elderly is the focus of the current old-age service system."Diet" is the basic guarantee for maintaining the vitality of the elderly and promoting the healthy functioning of various physiological functions,which has become an inseparable part of the life of the elderly.Therefore,according to the behavioral needs of the elderly,it is necessary to design a barrier-free space for the "kitchen",a must-have area for the elderly to live at home,to meet the behavioral needs and to greatly improve the quality of life of the elderly.This paper takes the elderly people over 60 years old as the research object,and aims at the concept of "livable","healthy" and "comfortable" to explore the scientific design of barrier-free kitchen space.Based on the old people's kitchen use behavior,living space,family structure and use of furniture,this paper analyzes the problems and limitations of kitchen space design.According to the behavioral appeals and physical characteristics of the elderly,and the barrier-free design concept,the design requirements of the barrier-free kitchen space for the elderly are analyzed.The design strategies and solutions for barrier-free kitchen spaces are discussed around the functions of kitchen,operation,storage space,lighting,color,decoration,operation route,furniture,to provide a basis for the healthy life of the elderly.In this paper,through a case study,a barrier-free kitchen space was remodeled in detail for one of the families interviewed,and the space movement line suitable for the elderly and the disabled in the kitchen space was adjusted.Combining with the national conditions of China,the construction drawings,color plane drawings,color maps and effect drawings were drawn with relevant software,which provided a detailed case study for the renovation.Technical drawings.
