The Preliminary Study On The Spiritual Construction Of The Place In The Old City Reconstruction Based On Cinematic Architecture

Today,the transformation of old cities is in full swing.The existence of old cities usually has decades of history,In the past decades,there have been many stories,bearing many memories of the old city residents,and each old city has its own spirit of place.However,in the past,most of the old city reconstruction only paid attention to the material level of construction,but neglected the spiritual level of construction,resulting in the disappearance of collective memory and the loss of place spirit in the urban space after the transformation.Film art,as one of the eight major arts,was born the latest,but its influence is the most far-reaching.The fundamental reason is that its artistic expression can grasp the hearts of the audience,arouse some kind of memory of the audience,arouse the emotional resonance of the audience,which is exactly what the spirit of the place needs.Therefore,this paper would like to draw on the artistic expression of the film to construct the spirit of place in the architectural space,and use it in the transformation of the old city.Firstly,this paper puts forward the concept of cinematic architecture,and makes a comprehensive discussion of its existing research.It makes clear that cinematic architecture is a new design thinking and method of architectural creation by means of the art expression method of film.Then the paper analyses the elements of the construction of the spirit of place in the transformation of old city,and concludes that the elements of the construction of the spirit of place include space plot and perceptual experience.Then,by comparing and analyzing the movie examples and the architectural examples,it summarizes how the expression of film art creates the space plot and expresses the perceptual experience,so as to construct the place spirit of architectural space.Finally,the film art expression techniques summarized will be tested in the old city reconstruction design of Hong gang City in Wuhan,in order to achieve the construction of the spirit of the place.
