With the continuous progress of modern science and technology,building products have diversified development.They are huge in scale,different in structure,long in construction cycle and involve many units and staff.If the progress of the project can not be effectively controlled according to the traditional schedule management method,the construction period will be delayed and completed.With the serious consequences such as cost increase and poor construction quality,an effective modern schedule management method is urgently needed to manage the project at this stage.With the rapid development of BIM technology in China,the introduction of BIM technology in project management is the first choice.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the traditional project schedule management in our country and the factors influencing the schedule,discusses the advantages of using BIM technology in project schedule management and the process of using BIM technology in project schedule management,and puts forward the project schedule management side which combines BIM technology with PDCA cycle principle.The method can effectively control the construction progress of large and complex projects.In this paper,taking the "New Star Plaza Phase III" project as an example,the BIM technology and PDCA cycle principle combined with the project schedule management method applied to the project,the use of BIM related software Revit and Navisworks for the project B1,B2 and basement parts of the three-dimensional information model,and pipeline collision detection,improve the model;Based on the Zebra Dream Dragon Network Plan and the BIM5 D platform of Guanglianda,this paper proposes a progress management process which combines BIM technology with PDCA cycle principle.The schedule management method can accurately predict the possible problems in the construction process and the factors affecting the construction progress before the construction of the project,and make timely decisions to avoid engineering accidents.The research results can refine the whole construction process to every day,every person and every construction component,and solve the problems that the traditional schedule can not guide the construction site,a large number of construction progress information is lost,and the management personnel can not supervise the construction situation in real time.In this paper,BIM technology and PDCA cycle principle are combined and applied in practical projects.It is verified that this method can truly realize the informatization,scientization and paperless of the project schedule management process,further improve the construction efficiency and shorten the construction period.It is hoped that the research results of this paper will provide a new idea for the project schedule management and play a positive role in promoting the fine construction management process.
