With the rapid development of China's social and economic strength,the concept of life and consumption has changed greatly.Therefore,the structure of tourism industry is diversified.From then on,China has entered the stage of leisure tourism and experience tourism.Caravan is an important carrier of self driving travel,and it entered in the market of China not for long with a low speed development.Now China's caravans mainly imported from the European and American countries with high price.With the continuous increase of private car and the continuous improvement of traffic and transportation conditions,the country has increased the policy support for the development of caravans,car-trailer has ushered in a new period of development.The object of this paper is the frame of a type of trailer.In this paper,the three-dimensional model of the frame is established by using Creo software and a certain structure is simplified on this basis.Then the HyperMesh software is used to carry out the middle surface extraction and geometric cleaning of the 3D frame model.Using the powerful pre processing function of the software to realize the high quality mesh division of the simplified model.Then according to the actual situation in the running process of the frame,the finite element model is endowed with the material attribute,the input thickness of the middle surface,the constraint bending including torsion,braking,turn and temporary manned five working conditions to complete the establishment of the finite element model of the frame.After that,the finite element model is introduced into the ANSYS software and the statics analysis is carried out under five working conditions.The stress cloud map and the displacement cloud chart are obtained by calculation and analysis.The maximum stress value of the frame is found to have greater safety space than the allowable stress of the frame material.It needs to be optimized to achieve an more economic purpose.Then,through modal analysis of the frame of the travel trailer,the natural frequency of the frame in each mode is obtained,and the dynamic characteristics of the frame are considered as a whole.Finally,taking the lightweight of the car frame as the target,using the OptiStruct module in HyperWorks software,the frame is optimized by setting design targets,design constraints and design variables,so as to reduce the thickness of the frame,reduce the quality of the frame effectively,and improve the economic performance of the frame.
