With the rapid development of domestic road transport, the design and manufacturing level ofspecial vehicle also greatly affect the level of development of the automotive industry as awhole. In recent years, the application of computer simulation analysis technology inautomobile design also gradually extended to the specialized automobile field, driving thespecialized automobile design level and efficiency improvement. Special purpose vehicle isdeveloping towards high technology content and high added value.This paper takes a type of storage grid semi-trailer as the research object, analyzing theperformance of traditional structure frame with finite element method. Based on the principleof bionics, a new type of bionic structure frame was designed and optimized. First of all, athree-dimensional entity model of storage grid semi-trailer frame was designed using Pro/Esoftware. The model was transferred into the ANSYS for static strength and modal analysis toget static and dynamic performance parameters.In view of the traditional structure frame structure, using the bionic structure designmethod, a bionic structure longitudinal beam was designed with reference to the typicalbiological structure and characteristics of bamboo. To test and verify the mechanicsperformance of bionic structure longitudinal beam, numerical calculations were taken for thebending stiffness and torsional stiffness of bionic beam and the finite element analysis wascarried out on the frame as a whole. The results of comparative analysis verified the bionicstructure frame has a better performance.In the end,by taking the size of some specific structure as design variables and the totalweight, the maximal displacement and first order torsional modal frequency as the objectivefunction, sensitivity analysis was performed. On the basis of the analysis results,multi-objective optimization was carried out to get the best structure bionic structure frame.
