Research On AFDX Network Monitoring Equipment In Avionics System

AFDX is called Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet(Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet).It is a deterministic network based on mature commercial Ethernet based on bus communication protocol specification for data exchange between avionics subsystems.AFDX network has great market potential in both military and civil aviation.In particular,the proposal and implementation of China's large aircraft plan,more and more domestic researchers have also been involved in the research of AFDX network bus products.This paper designs and implements a network testing device that satisfies the AFDX network protocol according to the network test requirements of avionics system.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1,The characteristics of AFDX bus are analyzed.Clear key issues in developing AFDX network testing system.After research and analysis,the data acquisition,packet error rate and delay characteristics of AFDX bus network are the main objects of this research.2,According to the actual testing environment,a network test equipment and data test and statistics software based on FPGA and USB2.0 interface as host communication interface are designed.On the hardware aspect,the architecture of the test system is designed.At the same time,the selection of FPGA,the design of circuit module and the USB module are deeply analyzed.On the software aspect,the software structure is introduced in detail according to the test requirements,and the corresponding modules of data acquisition,packet rate and error rate display are set up.3,The equipment for the design and test of the subject is verified.It is verified that the design scheme has the advantages of low operation difficulty,high feasibility and low test cost.It can test the AFDX network accurately and achieve the purpose of monitoring and statistics for real-time data in AFDX network.At the same time,the existing AFDX network testing equipment is usually expensive.The research results of this research meet the actual needs,and the lower cost design can make it easier and more widely promoted in the AFDX network test.
