Abstract/Summary:
In the past 40 years of China’s reform and opening-up,China has made rapid progress in all aspects.During this period, energy,as a key driving force for China’s rapid economic growth, has made China become the world’s largest energy consumer. However,in China’s energy structure, coal has been dominant in both throughput and consumption for decades. This kind of "coal-based" energy structure has brought many problems to many parts of China, such as serious air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore,in recent years, instead of using traditional coal,China has been committed to using clean and environmentally friendly new energy so as to solve the environmental pollution problems that have plagued us for several years. As exploration and development of various kinds of gas energy in China and development of international gas sources and channel construction in these years,China has made considerable progress in natural gas resources potential, supply, consumption market, infrastructure construction and so on.Moreover, the development of natural gas in Beijing has laid a good foundation. So far,a series of projects, such as the coal-to-gas switch in rural areas of Beijing, are being implemented in rural areas, gradually guiding farmers to use natural gas for heating so as to reduce air pollution and improve rural living environment. In this paper, the heating effect of the coal-to-gas switch in rural areas of Beijing is taken as the research object,Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)is used to analyze coal heating, electric heating and natural gas heating. The cost-benefit method is used to compare and calculate the cost-benefit needed for coal-to-gas switch.Ten specific heating modes are selected through TOPSIS evaluation method for analysis. The most ideal heating modes are selected, and then qualitative and quantitative evaluation and analysis are carried out by combining with the above three modes, and by this way,the most executable heating mode and the most suitable specific heating scheme are obtained.Last, and the corresponding evaluation and analysis are carried out by comparing with traditional coal-fired and electric heating methods. The paper also uses the method of statistical investigation to select representative villages, and adopts the methods of issuing questionnaire and random visit to collect the evaluation information of the respondents on the effect before and after the implementation of "“Coal to Gas”" heating reform in rural areas of Beijing. Then it evaluates and analyses the effect of natural gas heating transformation in rural areas of Beijing. It is concluded that in rural areas of Beijing, using clean energy—natural gas for heating, but not traditional coals,is the most practical and optimal alternative.
