| Medical device industry is a high-tech industry with interdisciplinary,highly technology-intensive and capital-intensive.Its development level is a concentrated reflection of a country’s scientific and technological innovation and industrial manufacturing capacity.Since the financial crisis in 2008,the global economy has been in a slow growth state,but the medical device industry is developing strongly,and the contribution rate of economic growth is increasing year by year.With the aging of the population and the improvement of the level of medical consumption,the medical device market will further increase,and the medical device industry will be more and more attracted by all countries in the world.The importance of home has become a strategic height for competing development.Medical equipment industry of China has developed from more than 70 enterprises with 192 million output value in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic to more than 16,000 enterprises and more than 500 billion output value in 2016,which has achieved a leap-forward development.However,compared with foreign large-scale medical device enterprises,China’s medical device enterprises generally have the problems of small scale,low technology content,serious homogeneity of products,and the domestic high-end medical equipment market has been monopolized by foreign enterprises for a long time.Based on this,this paper carries out research on comprehensive competitiveness evaluation of listed medical device enterprises in China,aiming at understanding the current situation of medical device enterprises in China,finding out the influencing factors of comprehensive competitiveness of listed medical device enterprises in China,and drawing lessons from the characteristics of foreign medical device enterprises,putting forward countermeasures to enhance the competitiveness of medical device enterprises in China.Suggestions.Firstly,through literature analysis,a comprehensive competitiveness evaluation system of medical device enterprises is constructed with 21 indicators from three levels: enterprise resources,enterprise capacity and external environment.Secondly,factor analysis and cluster analysis are used to evaluate the comprehensive competitiveness of 48 listed medical devices enterprises in China.It is found that scale factor,profitability factor,risk factor,innovation factor and operation factor are the main factors affecting the comprehensive competitiveness of Listed Medical Devices enterprises in China,and the influence is from scale factor.At the same time,according to the scores of 48 Enterprises in each factor,the medical device enterprises in China are divided into six categories.Finally,the principal component analysis method is used to make a comparative analysis of 10 top domestic medical device listed companies and 8 foreign medical device listed companies on the New York Stock Exchange,and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.The results show that the listed companies of medical devices in China have caught up with foreign enterprises in terms of profitability,innovation efficiency and risk tolerance,but the scale of foreign listed companies of medical devices is one order higher than that of domestic enterprises,and the level of operation and management is also better than that of domestic enterprises,which brings about the level of profitabilit y and technology.The level of innovation is far more than that of domestic medical device listed companies. |
