Idler roller is one of the main components of belt conveyors,the function of idler roller is to support the conveyor belt,and makes the conveyor belt of the sag does not exceed a certain limit,so as to reduce the rotating resistance of the belt conveyor idler rolls,to ensure the smooth running of the whole conveyor belt.The rotating resistance of idler rollers is the force to overcome the friction resistance of roller bearing and the friction of the seals.The rotating resistance is the second largest resistance except the indentation resistance in the motion resistance.Studying the rotating resistance is very important to improve the efficiency of the belt conveyor.Study idler roller rotation resistance on the basis of the rotational resistance device.Firstly,Analysis the mechanical structure and hardware composition of the rotating resistance,the original test device is hard to run when the weight is relatively large,the vibration is more serious.Improve the test device by shortening the shaft and removing the weight box.Through the force analysis of the drive shaft,improve the installation location of the parts of the drive shaft to reduce the vibration of the work of the test device.Secondly,formulate the experimental system test method according to the actual needs of the test system and experimental principle.Use VB6.0 and Advantech ActiveDAQ packages to develop the software of the roller rotation resistance test device.Finally,determine the overall software design;the overall design of the software includes functional structure design,interface design,program design;solve the key issues in software design(the design of database and experiment report).Select the sensors,encoders and data acquisition cards according to the difference of test system signal source.The test of the load and rotation resistance of roller is the collection of analog signal;The test of the roller speed is a pulse signal acquisition.The highest frequency when the roller rotating is 10Hz,according to Nyquist sampling theorem and signal maximum analysis frequency,determine the sampling frequency fs = 512Hz.When the software system is running,Mean filtering the collect data,The data is first saved to the data acquisition card buffer,after a certain period of time,stop the data collection,you can save the collected data to the database,the test data and test real-time curve saved to excel documents.export the experiment report to excel file.
