| Idler roller is the basic component of industrial production as well as one of the main components of belt conveyors,the function of idler roller is to support the conveyor belt,making the Sag of belt do not exceed to a certain limit to Ensure the smooth operation of the whole conveyor belt.The total weight of the rollers is about 30%to 40%by weight of the machine,because of its large quantity,the quality of rollers affect the normal operation of belt conveyors and operational costs directly.The roller rotation resistance is one of the important indexes of the quality of belt conveyor,and its rotation resistance directly determines the driving power of the belt conveyer.This paper expounds the structure of roller and the principle of rotation resistance,and analyze the factors of influencing rotation resistance from two aspects of structure and using conditions,and reference and draw lessons from the domestic and foreign existing roller rotation resistance measuring device and method,We design a new roller rotation resistance measurement device that can measure different size of roller in different speed,different temperature,different load cases,and design mechanical structure of the rotation resistance measurement device in accordance with the requirements for the function of the measuring device.The test system has been carried on overall designed according to the requirements of the measurement device signal data acquisition.According to the signal characteristics to choose the hardware of testing system including appropriate signal detecting element,signal conditioning component,data acquisition card.The programming design of software part is on the basis of the combination of LabVIEW2012 and the Function library of data acquisition offered by the Advantech,through the program consist of configuration management module,data acquisition module,data storage module,data processing module and image and display module,to complete the data acquisition,processing and analysis.Detailed testing steps and matters needing attention has been laid down for system testing of rotation resistance measurement device,and for the test system’s sensor calibration method and zero drift detection method have been designed also.A statistical analysis method is designed for researching the law of roller rotation resistance changing with parameters,on the basis of the same size roller’s rotation resistance measurement results under different operating conditions and the different size roller’s rotation resistance measurement results under the same operating conditions. |
