The construction industry has become the pillar industry of China's economic development, and the number of construction enterprises is increasing day by day.Small and medium-sized construction enterprises are an important part of China's construction enterprises.Small and medium-sized construction enterprises will face many risks in their production and operation activities. The occurrence of these risks will have a certain impact on the development of enterprises. This paper will study the risk assessment of small and medium-sized construction enterprises.Firstly, this paper expounds the research background and significance, analyses the research status of risk management theory, construction enterprise risk assessment and extension theory at home and abroad, and discusses the main contents, methods, ideas and innovations of this paper.According to the principle of risk assessment, this paper defines the relevant concepts of risk assessment for small and medium-sized construction enterprises, and combs the methods of risk identification, risk analysis and risk assessment.Secondly, through the questionnaire of "risk management of construction enterprises",we can understand the problems existing in the development of small and medium-sized construction enterprises and the status quo of risk management, and identify the risks faced by small and medium-sized construction enterprises, including market risk, operational risk, financial risk, project risk and contract. There are five types of risk,a total of 24 risks. On the basis of the survey results, the risk analysis of small and medium-sized construction enterprises is carried out by using the method of group strategy analysis and scoring. The comprehensive results of the possibility of the occurrence of 24 risks and the influence degree of the enterprises after the occurrence of the risks are obtained quantitatively, which are medium and small. The quantitative basis is provided for the risk assessment of the construction enterprises.Thirdly, the matter-element extension model is established to evaluate the risks faced by small and medium-sized construction enterprises. In the risk evaluation system of small and medium-sized construction enterprises, the target level is the risk of small and medium-sized construction enterprises, the standard level is market risk, business risk, financial risk, project risk and contract risk, and the index level is 24 risks. After determining the risk level, the comprehensive correlation degree of the index level, the criterion level and the target lev el is calculated by using the correlation function, and the risk level of each level is determined. The results show that the risk of small and medium-sized construction enterprises is in C grade. After ascertaining the risk level, from the overall point o f view of small and medium-sized construction enterprises, this paper puts forward relevant risk prevention measures, and demonstrates the practicability of matter-element extension model in the application of risk assessment. Finally, combined with the conclusions and shortcomings of this paper, the future research direction is explained, and new ideas for risk assessment and risk prevention of small and medium construction enterprises are provided.
