In recent years,China's high-speed railway system has developed rapidly,and its high-speed rail operating mileage ranks first in the world.The“Harmony”EMU is known worldwide for its high-speed and stable operation performance.The“Fuxing" EMU that was operated firstly in 2017 and has performed better than the“Harmony”.Based on further upgrades,the average running speed is faster,the stability is stronger,and the ride comfort is better.The excellent performance of the EMU depends on the stable operation of the high-speed train communication network.At this stage,the“harmony”EMU adopts the train-level WTB bus combines the vehicle-level MVB bus in the TCN network.Along with the rapid development of information technology and sensor technology.The future train network will increase the amount of information dramatically,which will pose a huge challenge to the performance of the train network.In order to deal with the high bandwidth requirements of the train network,the International Union of Railway and the IEC have introduced industrial Ethernet technology into the train network.In 2010,they issued the IEC 61375-2-5 series protocols and proposed the Ethernet Train Backbone(ETB)technology.This thesis will focus on researching the Ethernetcard on the basis of ETB train network,then comprehend the structure and communication mechanism with ETB through analyzing relevant peotocols.And simulate the ETB train network based on OPNET software,at the same time with the Czech UniControl company EBN?ETX series products,build ETB train network communication test platform,realize the ETB communication between ETB level and ECN level.The main contents of this paper include:(1)Based on the IEC61375-2-5 protocol,depthly analysis the ETB structure and Ethernet train backbone card(ETBN)performance requirements;(2)Based on IEC 61375-3-4 protocol,introduces detailedly the Ethernet network ECN;(3)Based on the IEC6135-2-3 protocol,analyze the communication protocol between the Ethernet Train Backbone Network(ETB)and the Ethernet consisit network(ECN),and further study the R-NAT method for the address translation between ETB and ECN.(4)Using OPNET software to build 2-node simulation for two consists network performance;(5)Set up a communication platform based on UniControl's Ethernet card-EBN and ETX series products to carry out the train initial operation and Communication function and performance test between ETB and ECN.OPNET simulation shows that Ethernet has good real-time and stability on the train communication network,and theoretically meet the performance requirements of the train communication network.In the final test of the communication platform,functions such as the initial operation of the train and the train address conversion were realized,and the communication between the terminals could be performed quickly and stably.It is found that the ETB train network can not only resolve the big data communication,but also maintain the excellent network performance of the real-time communication of the train.It is an inevitable trend of the next generation of train network,and the network research institutions of all major trains in the world are engaged in it.This thesis is only researching the Ethernet card in ETB network,and is willing to pave the way for the research on the backbone network in China.
