Following “going global” Strategy,Chinese enterprises have been achieving broad development in international project contracting market.At the same time utilizing both domestic and international market and resources,Chinese enterprises are taking positive position to global competition and cooperation through direct foreign investment,overseas project contracting,and cooperation of labor services etc.by which various production factors such as Chinese products,services,capital and technology are exported to the global market,the economic structure and resources will be adjusted and allocated within a broader space,and it will enhance a full implementation and development for Chinese enterprises’ globalization strategy.Meanwhile enjoying the fruit from the globalization,Chinese companies will also have to concern those potential risks around which will result in losses.The FMEA is a design tool used to systematically analyze postulated component failures and identify the resultant effects on system operations.A successful FMEA activity helps identify potential failure modes based on experiences with similar products and processes or based on common physics of failure logic.It is widely used in development and manufacturing industries in various phases of the product life cycle.This thesis tries to apply FMEA technology to the risk management of company A’s overseas projects by taking FMEA’s characteristics of preventive management,expecting to bring a risk management system based on FMEA to the company so that it can carry out systematic and full identification and control on project potential risks so as to protect the company’s overseas projects a success.The application of FMEA to the risk management of overseas projects has the characteristics of clear process,simplicity,enforceability,full participation of team members and preventive measures.It provides a set of completed work procedures and systematic analysis methods,which is of very important theoretical and realistic significance. |
