Inventory management is not only a key link to enterprise management,but also a key of whether an enterprise can obtain benefits and profits or not.Strengthening enterprise inventory management can reduce production and operation costs,effectively ensure the normal operation of enterprise management activities,thereby improve the customer service levels as well as enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises.Because of the variability of the automotive market,customer orders are short of the lead time with the characteristics such as long purchasing period of raw materials and the high materials costs.The inventory management of automotive and the components of the automotive has long been the most complex and most professional area of the logistics and supply chain management industry as.Inventory,especially raw material inventory,needs to occupy a large amount of liquidity.Optimizing raw material inventory management can effectively reduce the production and operation costs of enterprises,at the same time ensure the stable supply of the raw materials and achieve the lowest cost on time delivery,in order to improve the customer service levels.Therefore,more and more enterprises pay attention to the inventory management of raw material.Its raw material inventory management optimization can degrade the inventory holding costs and the improvement customer service levels has become one of the most core content of inventory management.First of all,this paper summarizes the related theories of inventory,inventory management and supplier management,this paper analyzes the three aspects of the inventory structure of Y Company,raw material inventory planning and operation process,and supplier management and operation process,and draws the basic problems of in the stock management of Y company based on the theoretical analysis.It includes poor accuracy of customer demand planning,lack of extensive raw material safety inventory management and poor supplier collaboration.Then,based on the basic problems of inventory management in Y enterprise and according to the theory of inventory and inventory management as the guide.At the same time,combined with the actual business and industry characteristics of Y Company,the paper puts forward an optimized solution of raw material inventory management,that is,by establishing the customer demand plan evaluation mechanism and safety stock management method,Finally,combining with the implementation and countermeasure of some optimization programs,It includes the adjustment of management and organizational structure,the construction of information platform of raw material inventory management,the construction of dynamic evaluation and feedback mechanism of raw material suppliers and the staff training and construction so as to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimization scheme.Through the research of this paper,on the one hand,it has made a qualitative leap for Y Company to establish a set of effective inventory management optimization schemes,on the other hand,according to the actual operations and characteristics of the enterprise,it puts forward some new solutions of inventory management optimization in order to enrich the theory of inventory management.
