In a changing society today, the concept of living and the living environment of urban residents are also in transition.Traditional residential modes are gradually disintegrating and new social organizations are forming in residential areas.Although technology has been continuously improved, residents' material levels have been continuously improved, and most of the living environment has been improved. However, the planning and design of residents' public leisure communication space is too conceptual and general, making the space for communication between neighbors gradually missing and the interpersonal relationship in residential areas becoming indifferent. The reasonable planning and design of living space is closely related to the residents' recreational activities, and it plays a decisive role in the well-being and sense of belonging of residents. This article takes the residents' interaction space in different living environments in the city as the research object, systematically studies the related theories of the residents' interaction psychology, communication needs and ancient traditional residence patterns, domestic and foreign cases, etc.,and interviews the residents in different living environments.Observing the residents' communicative behavior, starting from the communicative needs of the occupants, discussing the residents' interaction scales and psychological distances, and excavating the habits and methods of residents in different living environments, the analysis was conducted on the Shiliu River community in Jinan City.Based on the design concept of ?functional blending, neighborhood interaction, and people-car coexistence?,this article takes overall planning from the overall level of the community, and serves as a design point for promoting community exchanges in the functions of landscape nodes, places of communication, and road traffic.Through the study of theory and a series of cases, the following conclusions have been drawn:(1)Through the exploration of the three concepts of communication space, neighborhood communication, and living environment, summarize the relationship between them, introduce the theory of social psychology, communicative behavior, and communication needs in the residential communication space, combining domestic and foreign relevant case studies,Outreach should be based on the familiarity of the neighborhood and the premise of the community. The rational allocation of green space and hard space, mixed community functions, and a pedestrian-led road system should arouse the vitality of the community.(2)The research on the system of the residents' interaction space in the Shiliuhe community in Jinan City adopts the idea of a unified plan for the whole community to create a common communication space and platform for residents of different ages, strata, and living environments, and to optimize the interaction space, encourage and Inspire the enthusiasm of the entire community residents to communicate.Based on the design concept of "functional blending, neighborhood interaction, and people-vehicle coexistence",the design and use of the pre-occupancy space function of the sub-district residential building is designed;secondly, the high-rise building proposes the exchange of garden space and the design of platforms, terraces and corridors.Research will enable residents to have room for interaction within the vertical space of the building;then, within the entire community, conduct research and design on the places of interaction of residential spaces of different classes of residents,so as to share space, eliminate the grading of residents, and finally, within the community.Design and research on road traffic network, adding road branches and walking and cycling roads. From the above four aspects, the exchange dynamism of residents of Shiliuhe community will be promoted.
