In recent years, with the continuous development of China’s economy and the continuous improvement of the people’s living standards, road traffic pollution generated by automobiles has become one of the most salient environmental issues. In particular, pollution from atmospheric particulates and noise pollution caused by traffic pollution make people particularly vulnerable.attention.Therefore,the control effect of urban green space on noise pollution and particulate matter pollution has become a hot topic for many scholars to study and pay attention to.With regard to research on the dust-removing and noise-reducing effects of plant communities, most of the research is to separate the plant’s noise reduction and dust-removal,and to study the ecological effects of the plant community on individual dust-removing or de-noising.However,the combination of these two ecological effects for research and analysis is rarely reported. In this paper, the strip roads of urban roads in the west of the Huancheng West Road in Xi’an are set as research objects, and quantitative studies of the green belts formed by different road plant structures and the effects of noise reduction and dust-removing effects under different widths are carried out.For the design of urban road green belts in the future,it provides the theoretical basis for the plant allocation structure that produces good ecological benefits in both dust retention and noise reduction.Based on the investigation of the green space configuration of the around City city park Xiyuan in Xi’an,the green belts of the arbor-shrub-grass structure, the shrub-grass structure, and the arbor-grass structure in the Xiyuan West Gate to Yuxiangmen Section of the Ring Road are respectively at 5 meters and 10 meters. The noise reduction and dust-removing effects under a width of 20 meters were measured in the field.Field experiments were conducted to determine the noise reduction and dust-retention effects of green belts with different vegetation structures under the same width and green belts with the same vegetation structure. The experimental data were then used to analyze different noise reductions caused by different planting structures of the green belts. The dust-removing effect factors finally select green belts that have good ecological effects in both dust-removing and noise-reduction.Analytical research results show that: 1.In the aspect of dust retention, the green belt of arbor-grass structure shows the best dust-retaining effect in the three structural green belts, and the dust-retention effect of the green belt of the shrub-grass structure is relatively general. The dust-removing effect of the green belt is worse than the previous two. There are three main factors influencing the difference in the dust-retention effect of the green belts of different vegetation structures. They are: the relative humidity and temperature in the green belts of different vegetation structures and the different porosity formed by different plant communities. The experimental results show that the relative humidity and the concentration of particulate matter in the green belt are positively correlated, and the temperature and the concentration of particulate matter are negatively correlated. The porosity of the plant community structure is mainly promoted or suppressed by affecting the wind field around the plant green belt.Diffusion of particulate matter.2.In terms of noise reduction, the arbor-grass structure green belt showed the best noise reduction effect in the three types of structural green belts, and the noise reduction effect of the arbor and grass structure green belt was relatively general. The performance is poor. There are two main factors influencing the difference in the noise reduction effect of the green belts of different vegetation structures. They are: the difference in the width of green belts and the horizontal canopy density of different plant structure green belts. The degree of canopy closure and noise attenuation of the greenbelt width and vegetation structure are negatively correlated. The effect of noise attenuation on the green belt with a small width and a high degree of horizontal canopy closure is obvious.3.The comparative analysis of the comprehensive green belt on the dust-removing and noise-reducing effects found that the green belt of the arbor-grass structure can exhibit very good dust-retention and noise-reduction effects under the widths of 5 meters,10 meters and 20 meters. The 20-meter-wide grassy green belt has the best performance in both dust and noise reduction.4.In addition to the green belt of the arbor-grass structure, the green belt with a width of 10 meters of shrub-grass structure also shows good dust-removing and noise-reducing effects. It is necessary for some noise-reducing and particulate-requiring protection requirements and is transparent to the field of vision. The city roads need a higher degree, and the green belt of the shrub-grass structure is a very suitable form for the distribution of green belts.
