Research On Campus Landscape Design Based On Functionality

The development of the times and the advancement of urbanization have accelerated the demand for high-level talents from all walks of life.At the same time,people have increasingly attached importance to the investment in the education industry and the training of high-quality talents.In recent years,various cities have introduced various retention policies and opened the prelude to the "talented war for talents." The implementation of these policies has prompted universities to continuously improve their own teaching quality,improve their teaching methods,and implement teaching reforms.On the other hand,they also pay more attention to campus construction,especially the construction of campus landscapes.At present,most of the landscape construction of colleges and universities in China is on the greening level.Through the combination of plants,lawns and man-made water features to create a visual aesthetic landscape,to a certain extent to meet the physical and functional needs of teachers and students,in addition,in the college landscape construction.In the process,a series of inspiring campus landscapes that reflect the spirit of the university and reflect educational functions will also be introduced.The only drawback is that the rapidity and moderation of modern campus construction,the lack of design considerations combined with humanistic landscapes and campus culture,historical development,and academic characteristics have resulted in more or less "copy and paste" of campus landscapes.The effects,lack of functional expression,and lack of distinctive features.This article attempts to reflect the connotation of the university spirit with the college campus landscape that carries the campus culture,and at the same time,it makes the landscape have certain characteristics,such as the Jiageng cultural features highlighted by the “Xiagen spirit” in Xiamen University,from which to explore functional features in the campus landscape.The application of design is the focus of this study.In addition,the functionalities of this study mainly refer to the educational auxiliary functions in the campus landscape.It is believed that whether it is material or spiritual,all teachers and students can meet the space requirements of the campus landscape environment in the learning exchanges and can produce correct results for teachers and students.The campus landscape elements that are positively impacted are the educational auxiliary functions of the campus landscape.The article summarizes the functional classification,cultural embodiment,design principles and functional construction of campus landscape,analyzes outstanding cases at home and abroad,finds problems in the landscape design of domestic universities,and discusses how to better use the campus The function of the landscape,under the influence of factors such as campus culture,academic characteristics,historical development,etc.,integrates characteristic elements into the auxiliary functions of the campus landscape,and proposes corresponding countermeasures.Finally,taking the campus landscape design of Hubei University of Technology as an example,this paper expounds the functional design of campus landscape design and the specific methods and methods of application of characteristic elements in campus campuses,and provides basic references for future campus landscape design research based on functionality.
