Study On The Water Landscape Design Of Universities

The campus was not only a place which teachers and students could acquire knowledge and communicate together, but also one that could provide a place where people could enjoy themselves and adjust their physical and mental health. Good campus landscape has an important influence on the development of physical and mental to the teachers and students.Waterscape was an important element of the campus space, also the most moving one,so people would be attracted by the waterscape no matter it was the flowing water or still water.When designing waterspace, should not only consider how made it looked beautiful, but also functional, so teachers and students would like involved in it, and enjoy this place.The writer of this paper intends to study on the water landscape of campus, include the principle of the campus water landscape design, the campus water landscape design factors and the design methods. To apply the results in the waterspace landscape design of Dalian Maritime University, according to the academics of the Dalian Maritime University, combine the elements of sea and campus culture into the design. The surface morphology is given priority with smooth curve, using the way of ecological revetment design node square,pro level platform,wooden footway, pacilion,etc. This design provide a place which students should have activities.learning. Though planting aquatic plants to protect water bodies and have a comfortable environment for the students.Through these researches, we study the influence factors of water,and summed up the water landscape design principle and method, we expect how to build an ecological,functional and ornamental water landscape of campus space.
