As an important part of the preservation system of China's historical and cultural cities, the historical district is not only the area with the most complete historical memories and the most obvious characteristics of the traditional features, but also an organism that carries tens of thousands of people or even hundreds of thousands of people.During the period of the rapid development, the preservation of China's historical districts is now facing severe challenges. On the one hand,in most historical urban districts,it is difficult to identify the historical features and the overall spatial pattern, since segments of historical blocks and lots are scattered in the city.On the other hand,in the process of the preservation and renovation of the historical districts, the Mechanism of the everyday life behind the spatial pattern are neglected, which cuts off the historical context and wipes the rich historical content of historical districts.Studying on the space of historical districts from the perspective of everyday life, this study takes people as the subject of space, and focus on the spatial connotation of economy, society, and culture shaped by everyday life, excavating the overall pattern behind the fragmentations of historical space.Taking Ningbo as the research object, this study focuses on the spatial pattern of everyday life, and conducts analysis on the historical progress and evolution of the space pattern of everyday life, then putting forward methods of integration and reconstruction. With the construction of research framework of the spatial pattern of everyday life, this study proposes three types of spatial patterns: domain group pattern, network pattern and node pattern.Taking the historical city of Ningbo as an example, this study obtains the space elements of everyday life by interpreting historical images on ArcGIS platform and build the segment model based on spatial syntax software.Aiming at the above three types of spatial pattern, the average depth analysis, the integration degree analysis on space syntax and the spatial clustering analysis method of ArcGIS are selected to conduct analysis respectively. In the case of Ningbo historical district, the main conclusions are as follows. In the historical analysis of the spatial pattern of everyday life, irregular and continuous domain groups characterize the spatial scope of everyday life. Its internal heat and external form have characteristics of high industrial oriented. The network pattern of everyday life express as the double-grid with the non-axis and semi-network structure to control the overall pattern, while the differences between local and the overall is large;node pattern of everyday life is distributed by different social needs. In the analysis of evolution, the domain groups of everyday life have a similar feature of heat level, although it presents a deep collage of segments. The network pattern has some structural inertia with more unified and tree-Pattern organization. The node pattern expresses the internal closure and external centralization gradually through the changes of social ideology.Under the analysis of historical process and evolution, this paper analyzes the relation between everyday life space pattern and modern living habits, and puts forward methods of integration and reconstruction for different coupling types. To study the spatial pattern of the historical districts, this paper introduces the theory of everyday life, and constructs the theoretical framework of the spatial pattern of everyday life.Through the case study, the concrete research object and the analysis method of the spatial pattern are proposed, which supports the overall preservation of the historical districts.
