It is well known that the urban water supply system has become an indispensable infrastructure for urban construction in China,but pipeline leakage accidents often occur in water supply pipelines due to corrosion,aging and man-made damage.Traditional manual inspection method to locate the pipeline leakage is very inefficient.In order to solve this problem,we design a correlation leakage detection system based on wavelet and VMD(Variational Mode Decomposition)algorithm in this thesis.In the process of designing and realizing this system,contributions are as follows:Firstly,we introduce the existing pipeline leakage technology briefly.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies,we finally adopt the acoustic leak detection method to detect the pipeline leakage.In order to remove the noise contained in the collected leakage signal,we analyze the mechanism,propagation characteristics,frequency characteristics and background noise of the acoustic signal of pipeline leakage,and then propose a method that combines the wavelet denoising and VMD algorithm to denoise the leakage signal.Secondly,because the sound velocity depends on the experience value in the traditional dual-sensor pipeline leak localization model,the precision of the location algorithm is very low.In order to solve this problem,this thesis introduces a three-sensor pipeline leak localization model into this system.Through this model,we can accurately get the propagation speed of leaky sound when calculating the position of the pipeline leakage point.Finally,we design a pipeline leakage signal acquisition device based on STM32,which includes: sensor module,signal conditioning module,data acquisition module,STM32 minimum system,4G communication module,GPS module,data storage module,and power module.The experimental results show that the system is able to collect and store the leakage signal,and lays the foundation for the leakage detection and location of the water supply pipeline.
