Uneven distribution of snow load often leads to co llapse o f building roofs,especially for the light steel roo f structure.Snow distribut ion coefficient o f building roof is simple given by the load code of building structure in our country.Snow distribution coefficient is given by reference to the local structural design experience and the limited measured data a nd it is difference in different national codes,such as the arch roof snow distribution coefficient.It is lack o f system research and experimental results,numerical simulat ion results o f validat ion and analysis.At present,there is little research on s now drift in china.Accurate predict ion o f snow distribut ion on roo f surface is important fo r prevent ing snow induced roof co llapse.In this paper,based on the Euler-Euler method,assuming that the air and snow phases are cont inuous phases,the co mputat io nal fluid dynamics software Fluent 17.0 and UDF two development technology are used to simulate snow distribut ion of t ypical building roof.The main contents are as follows:A numerical model of snow drift ing was established.The snow distribut ion of two dimensional flat roo f and three dimensional single layer cylindrical reticulated shell is simulated,and the accuracy of the model is verified by co mparison with the corresponding wind tunnel test and numerical simulat io n results.Taking the double slope roof as the object of study,the influence o f transient and steady state so lut ions and the snow boundary change on snow distribut ion are studied.Finally,the final simulat ion method of wind blowing snow is determined.The snow distribut ion of single sloping roo f,double slope roof,arched roo f and saddle roof is analyzed.The influence of wind speed,roof inclination angle(rise span ratio),roof length and span,wind direction angle on snow distribut ion of roof surface area is studied.The surface snow dist ribut ion coefficients of different roof types are given and co mpared with the snow load specificat ions.Take adjacent buildings of equal height and wrong height as the object o f study,the influence o f the interference between buildings on the snow distribut ion of roof is study.The influence o f the interference between buildings on snow distribut ion under different distances is analyzed,and the snow distribut ion coefficients of the cross sect ion centers are compared with those o f the codes,so as to provide reference for the structural design.
