Hydraulic power transmission technology is broadly applied in modern industrial systems,such as mechanic industry.The different type control valves are the kernel control components.Therefore,the performance of the valve is a significant symbol of the advancement of the hydraulic system.The two-way electro-hydraulic cartridge throttle valve is a widely used control valve which has a plug-in spool and sleeve that are integrated by a plug-in structure.It has a large series of products with different mounting hole diameters.The two-way electro-hydraulic cartridge valve can be employed to control pressure,flow rate and direction with different function blocks.The using of the two-way cartridge valve can make the system compact and tight,which also benefit for energy saving.The two-way electro-hydraulic proportional cartridge valve with spool position electrical feedback which has advantages of quick response,high precision and large flow rate is a newly developed high response and high precision cartridge valve in recent years.It has been applied in many high performance hydraulic systems.However,most of these used valves are produced by foreign enterprise.Domestic manufacturers cannot produce this kind valve with comparable performance.Most of the hydraulic system companies are still relying on the import valves.This thesis studied a two-way electro-hydraulic proportional cartridge throttle valve(NG40)which proposes to replace the widely used product from Rexroth.LTD.It has sleeve and spool structure and has spool posit ion feedback and controlled by a digital controller.It can replace the imported products if this research succeeds.In this thesis,the working principle of the developed valve was analyzed firstly.The design of the valve was carried out with three dimensional software Solidworks.Then,the dynamic model and the flow equation were derived.The dynamic model of the valve was established by Simulink ? AMESim and the fluid field was simulated via Fluent.The design parameters and structure are optimized based on these simulation results.The manufacturing process was also studied to improve the quality and efficiency.Some prototypes were produced and tested.The test results indicate that the performances meet the design objectives.These results also ver ified the correctness of the modeling and simulation.In the last,the performances of the valve applied in ceramic tile pressing machine are analyzed.The performances are as good as the imported products.This application test accumulates experience for other applications.
