Hydraulic control circuit involves in double loaded chambers coordinated control, single loaded chamber coordinated control and single loaded chamber independent control. Single loaded chamber independent control follows a basic combination principle:minimum liquid impedance. It can be concluded as:when controlling flow through regulating liquid impedance for the hydraulic transmission and control, all the controlled chamber circuits of controllable actuators can be composed of minimum liquid impedance, which should be one of the basic principles for evaluating the rationality of hydraulic control circuits and system design. The two-way cartridge valve with good performance is the elementary part of the single loaded chamber independent control circuit.Integrated with the proportional control technology, servo control technology and numerical control technology, the performance of the two-way cartridge valve has been improved a lot. However, the existing available two-way cartridge valves, whose mounting holes accord with standard ISO7368, are mainly applied in the hydraulic transmission and control area with high and medium power or high pressure and flow. Actually, there is a great potential of two-way cartridge valve's application for medium and small power hydraulic control, especially for a good integration. The key technology lies in the intensive and integral recombination and structure innovation based on the existing available two-way cartridge valves. In view of this situation, MR Huang who is the general designer of Shanghai Renhao Hydraulics Integration Development Department, has proposed a MINISO two-way cartridge valve which covers small size pilot-control valve, integrated flange control cover, smaller main stage and its modular combination.According to MINISO Standard, a 16mm diameter MINISO displacement-force feedback proportional throttle, a MINISO displacement-force feedback unidirectional proportional throttle and a MINISO indirect detection proportional control valve are designed. In this paper, every MINISO valve's structure, working principle and design calculation are analyzed. Then,MINISO valve's mathematical model is built and optimized using the hydraulic simulation software AMESim. Solidworks is employed to establish the 3D view while AutoCAD for parts and assembly drawings. The process and machining are developed and completed. Finally, a series of performance tests for MINISO proportional throttle and proportional control valve are done, including dynamic and static tests. The feasibility of MINISO standard is validated.Based on MINISO standard, a four-way manifold block is designed. The four-way electro-hydraulic proportional cartridge manifold block with independent regulation system consists of two unidirectional proportional throttles and two proportional control valves. It is applied to independently control the single loaded chamber on the excavator boom cylinder, the negative loading flow regeneration can be realized during the boom descending when the main pump is unloaded.
