Under the background of energy shortage and environmental pollution,it is urgent to develop and utilize a series of clean and renewable energy sources on a large scale.Water energy is an important part of renewable energy generation.The development and utilization of building water power generation and utilization of resources have responded positively to the construction of the national sponge city,which is in line with the strategy of sustainable development.First of all,the research background and significance of distributed renewable energy are introduced,and the basic types and concepts of building water power are described.The present situation of the research on the utilization of building water resources in the world is analyzed.Secondly,Taking Xiamen as an example,the average annual rainfall and urban residents’ domestic water consumption in recent years are collected and counted,and the total amount of available building water energy is analyzed,which is considered in conjunction with the efficiency of water-power generator.This paper discusses the annual electricity generation of building hydropower system,evaluates the economic benefits and ecological environmental benefits generated by the utilization of building water energy resources,and analyses the calculation of hydraulic generator’s output and the measuring method of its water flow rate.Afterwards,In this paper,the shortage of building single stage hydropower system is presented.From the point of view of making full use of building water energy,the concept of building cascade hydroelectric power generation is put forward for the first time.The system is connected to the same water diversion pipe by several hydraulic turbine power generation systems.The reasonable use of the working taps of the hydraulic generator to realize the multiple utilization of water energy makes up for the problem that the single stage hydropower system needs to be unloaded because of the high output voltage,and the utilization ratio of the water energy is improved.The electric energy generated by the turbine can be used directly for household load,and can also be stored in batteries through transformers and AC/DC modules.Using Matlab to model and simulate the speed regulation system of hydraulic turbine,to simulate the frequency change process of turbine start-up and load rejection,the simulation results show that the fuzzy PTD control can play a good role in governing speed.Its response speed is fast,and there will be no overshoot.Finally,using LabVIEW software platform,the upper computer of building cascade hydropower power management system is built.The specific functions include transmission and display of basic measuring parameters of hydraulic generator,monitoring of power,calculation of voltage fluctuation and flicker,the monitoring of electric power and the recording of blackout time.It can reduce the error of calculation and measurement by hardware circuit and complete the design of building cascade hydropower power management system.The feasibility and advantage of building cascade hydropower system are verified by field test.
