Railway transportation is the backbone transportation mode in China's transportation system,and it occupies an important position in the development of the national economy as a national economic artery.With the change of the economic structure of our country and the continued growth of the economy,the demand for the railway general-purpose flat and gondola wagon is still very strong.This has led to increasing pressure on railway transportation,but the relative efficiency of railway transportation is not satisfactory.However,according to statistics of relevant data,the running rate of empty wagons in the United States is about 45%,and the average running rate of empty wagons in China is about 50%.On one hand,it is the continuously increasing demand for railway transportation and the increasingly heavy traffic pressure.On the other hand,the high emptying rate of empty wagons has caused serious waste of resources.How to increase the utilization rate of vehicles has become a problem that railway transportation companies are very concerned about and urgently solve.In the view of fact that the number of empty wagons in our country is high,and that flat wagons and gondola wagons are substitute each other more serious.Based on the analysis of the study on the development of domestic and foreign special freight wagons and design a track flat and gondola general wagon.The vehicle has both functions of gondola and flat wagon,which can ease the mismatch of vehicle types,reduce the rate of running empty wagons,and improve the efficiency of railway transportation.The structural design of the wagon body is based on the C70 frame,and finally the conversion of the gondola and the flat wagon is achieved through the manpower steering conversion mechanism.When used as a gondola,it can transport bulk cargo such as coal(60 tons)and can withstand the conditions of a wagon tippler;when used as a flat wagon,it can load two 20 ft or one 40 ft standard containers.Through the institutional knowledge to design a reasonable conversion mechanism,and the theoretical calculation of the components to determine a reasonable size,to ensure that its stiffness to meet operating conditions.At thesame time,the lateral pressure of the bulk cargo and the pressure under the working conditions of the wagon tippler machine need to be taken into consideration.The static strength and fatigue strength of the steel structure of the vehicle body are analyzed with finite element software to verify the rationality,feasibility and reliability of the technical scheme.Finally,the modal analysis and buckling analysis are performed on the vehicle body to meet the design requirements for the stability of the vehicle body to meet the strength design and qualification specifications of the railway vehicle.
