Research On The Influence Of Passageway Obstacle On Crowd Evacuation In Shopping Mall

With the development of quality of life,shopping in shopping mall has become a main kind of recreation.In order to create holiday atmosphere or increase sales of goods,shopping mall will set landscape belt or promotion commodity shelf in exit passageway,which are like obstacles badly reducing the speed of evacuation in emergency.For solving the problem,this paper tries,from the principle of fire safety engineering theory,to analysis the obstacles` positions and shapes in the exit passageway of Zhong shan city of shopping mall,and establish evacuation modeling for shopping centers based on pathfinder evacuation simulation software,and research the regular of the obstacle layout` s influence on evacuation sheep.The main works and conclusions are as follows:(1)From analysis to the location and shape of obstacles in the entry channel under pathfinder evacuation simulation software,we find : in the same area,the influence of circular obstacles and square obstacles on evacuation are almost same.The width of the obstacle has a great influence on the evacuation,.The wider the width is,the longer the evacuation time spends.And the change of the length of the obstacle will not cause the change of the evacuation effect.(2)From the analysis to the location and shape of obstacles in atrium under pathfinder evacuation simulation software,we find that: If safe evacuation exits are arranged around the atrium,the influence of the barrier on the evacuation of the evacuation passage can be ignored;if obstacles are placed at the edge of the atrium,the obstacles should be placed on the side of the evacuation channel,that could ensure people in the atrium can escape from the nearest safety exit;if decentralization is used in the atrium,it still need to use the layout that shelf space should be set aside enough width to ensure smooth passage of personnel.(3)From the analysis to the location and shape of obstacles indoor under pathfinder evacuation simulation software,we find the characters of evacuation: when single obstacle`s width is wider,evacuation time become more;when setting obstacles in in indoor passageway,it necessary that not only considering the width but also distance.(4)An evacuation exercise was conducted at a shopping centre,obstacles were erected at the entrance,atrium and indoor passageways of the shopping centre,and the data of the evacuation exercise was obtained by means of high-definition cameras.The results of the evacuation simulation of the Pathfinder were verified...
