A Preliminary Study On The Application Of Plant Identification In Archaeological Site Park

The use of the plant to present sites is a means of presentation the large-scale archaeological site in archaeological sites park.It is based on two attributes of archaeological site park with "sites" and "Park".It has been practiced in the National Archaeological site Park of China.However,the study of its theory and method is still in the preliminary exploration stage,especially a large amount of application of the landscape design pattern and the lack of "identification plant" and special research,which causes the identification plant to be a factor that affects and destroys the site.Therefore,the exploration of the application method of plants identification has important practical significance.This paper,relying on the project of the Key Laboratory of the Shaanxi Provincial Education Department,"Research on the typology of site park suitability demonstration interpretation project"(project number: 14JS051),taking the Daming Palace archaeological site park,which is National large-scale archaeological site protection and presentation base,as the main research object,combined with the theoretical practice of the protection of the large-scale archaeological site,the interpretation of site value,and the design of plant landscape and so on.In view of the application status of the plant identification mode,the first exploration of the three levels of application of plant identification is made:(1)what is the display mode of plant identification,why and how to develop;(2)how to select the identifying plants suitable for the display of site ontology;(3)the application technical route of the site of the plant identification site.The content of the paper mainly consists of four parts: the first part,through the collection of archaeological information,historical documents,related planning text,and the related design schemes of various companies,contrasts with the practice and effect of the field exploration;Based on the analysis and induction of the Daming Palace case,the second part analyses the basic features of the physical remains and the historical(natural)environment of the plant identification site.The third part explores the key problem of the design of the plant identification of the site noumenon,the selection of the identifying plant;The fourth part,based on the problems in the work,makes a preliminary study on the application technology route and key technical points of plants identification of the physical remains.Taking the ascension of the plant identification of The Daming Palace site as an example,the article initially analyzes how to establish the object,content,and measures.The paper enriches the research on the theory and method of site identification.The concept of "identifying plant" was put forward for the first time;the specific design methods of plant identification were summed up,and the important auxiliary functions of illustrative signs on the presentation effect of plant identification were emphasized;the five principles of screening and identifying plants were determined,which were site safety,cultural suitability,external identifiability,ecological adaptability,and operation.In terms of economy,the list of identifying plant species in Xi'an area is clearly defined;the application of plant identification in the presentation of the physical remains is summed up: to determine the displayed site--the feasibility assessment--Engineering Design--impact assessment--project implementation--plant management and monitoring--in the later period of deep archaeology or upgrading.
